Client Advocate/Paralegal
Chisholm Chisholm and Kilpatrick (CCK) is a private, public-interest law firm focused on disabled military veterans and their families, as well as individuals denied life, health, and disability benefits.
Position Summary: The Client Advocate will serve as the first and main point of contact for our disabled veteran clients and their families in the Veterans Practice Group, managing a high volume of client calls and correspondence, providing timely case updates, and ensuring all communications are clear, professional, and supportive.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally manage a high volume of phone calls and email correspondence with clients and their families
- Use internal systems to retrieve information and provide accurate status updates
- Draft basic forms and written correspondence to clients and VA
- Update CCK's case management program files with all client conversations and pertinent correspondence
- Attend training sessions and assist with training new Client Advocate/Paralegals
Requirements: High School degree required (Bachelor's preferred); client services or customer support experience a plus; excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; fluency in English (Spanish a plus); ability to obtain and maintain a PIV card and VA network access (government background check).
Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary $43,775/year; medical, dental, vision with employer-paid medical for employees; gym reimbursement; 15 days PTO plus 12 paid holidays; 401k matching; paid parental leave.
Work Location: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Available onsite at our Providence, RI headquarters or remotely in CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OH, RI, SC, TX, UT, VA.
