Corporate Paralegal
Non-Exempt / Full Time
Job Summary:
The Corporate Paralegal: Registration will report directly to the General Counsel and work closely with the Senior Corporate Paralegal. They are responsible for filing timeshare registrations, renewals, and related documents as well as reviewing, revising, and drafting a variety of agreements supporting the operation of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for filing of initial and secondary state timeshare registrations, renewals, and amendments while supporting ongoing regulatory compliance related to such filings and applicable state requirements.

Assists in drafting, research, and implementation of all consumer facing documentation, including purchase and sale contracts, loan documents, and sales disclosures.

Assists in drafting, reviewing, and revising initial drafts of sales and marketing agreements, site operating agreements, real estate leases, and such other agreements as may be assigned from time to time.

Responsible for drafting, obtaining, and tracking escrows, subsidies, and bonds, as may be required from time to time.

Performs legal research, including review of governing documents, case law, regulatory and administrative rules, and federal, state, and local statutes.

Assists with corporate entity management, including annual filings, maintenance of good standing, and coordination of corporate records.

Assists with response process for escalated consumer complaints and inquiries.

Works as part of the team on other projects as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

College degree or technical certificate a plus.

TRAINING:

Paralegal degree or certificate in paralegal training program a plus.

A minimum of three (3) years prior paralegal experience required.

Timeshare experience a plus.

TECHNICAL:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Prior timeshare registration experience.

Prior contract review and drafting experience.

Developed proficiency in legal research
