This position serves as a Legal Administrative Specialist responsible for providing litigation support in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. Typical work assignments include:
- Evaluating electronic files and developing a plan for their handling and management.
- Extracting data from storage devices and downloading data from transfer sites.
- Managing complex and voluminous reviews by filter and investigative teams.
- Tracking and coordinating data processing to comply with discovery and evidence admissibility requirements.
- Identifying privileged and other protected information for redaction and applying redactions to text and multimedia files.
- Generating complex electronic discovery productions that comply with production specifications and deadlines.
Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
