Location: Remote. Client expressed a preference for local Houston-based talent.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a paralegal or legal operations professional with significant CounselLink and e-billing administration experience to support its global CounselLink rollout and legal spend management efforts. The role would involve legal operations/e-billing administration, matter/vendor support, invoice workflow support, data/reporting hygiene, and practical user support for internal legal teams and outside counsel.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on CounselLink administration experience, ideally in a corporate legal department or sophisticated legal operations environment.
- Strong e-billing/legal spend management experience, including invoice workflows, outside counsel billing guidelines, matter management, reporting, and vendor support.
- Legal operations or paralegal background with ability to support system users, troubleshoot process issues, and improve adoption during rollout.
- Houston-based candidate strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of paralegal or corporate legal experience in a U.S. law firm or in‑house legal department
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited U.S. institution (ABA‑approved program preferred)
- Strong Tech skills, able to use different kinds of software/learn quickly
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills and strong attention to detail.
