Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate paralegal work within the Code Enforcement division to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of assignments.
  • Support case tracking, documentation, and follow-up related to code violations and enforcement actions.
  • Perform paralegal duties in support of Code Enforcement cases, including document preparation and case support.
  • Draft, prepare, and review correspondence, notices, and other legal or administrative documents as needed


Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have experience in paralegal work, legal office support, or municipal/government operations, along with strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and case management systems. A working knowledge or understanding of the legal system is also preferred.

Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.

To be eligible to apply, current City employees must have completed their probationary period and attained certified status in their current position.
