If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), Northern District of Texas, serving as the Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist, which includes duties as first line supervisor of the Criminal Division paralegals and as second line supervisor to Criminal Division legal assistants and support staff. Typical work assignments will include:

- Performing a full range of first line supervisory duties associated with supervising legal support staff.
- Organizing and directing the activities of legal support staff.
- Providing legal, technical, and clerical support to attorneys and legal support staff.
- Assisting attorneys and managing legal support staff in organizing voluminous case information.
- Performing a variety of complex administrative duties relating to the management of an office.
- Advise, counsel, and instruct staff on both legal work and administrative matters. To qualify for the position of Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist, at GS-0901-12, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service.

Specialized experience is defined as experience organizing and directing the activities of legal support staff; providing legal, technical, and clerical support to attorneys; providing technical advice to legal support staff; assisting attorneys and managing legal support staff in organizing voluminous case information; performing a variety of complex administration support relating to the management and administrative support of the division.
