Interim Corporate Paralegal
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need an Interim Corporate Paralegal.
Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced corporate paralegal to assist on a part-time basis for the next 5+ months.
Company: Entertainment Company.
Experience: 5 + years of corporate paralegal experience within a corporate legal department.
Location: Remote.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the preparation of board and committee materials, including agendas, resolutions, minutes, and presentations
- Draft and maintain corporate records, including written consents and governance documentation
- Support entity management, including maintaining subsidiary records and coordinating annual filings
- Manage governance calendars and track key corporate deadlines
- Partner directly with the CLO on strategic initiatives, special projects, and day-to-day legal department operations
- Manage outside counsel relationships, including engagement tracking, billing, and budgeting
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and materials for senior leadership
- Maintain legal trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-making
- Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial agreements using templates and standard forms
- Coordinate contract execution and maintain contract lifecycle management systems
- Support due diligence efforts and transactional projects as needed
- Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of compliance frameworks
- Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries and support cross-functional compliance initiatives
- Coordinate and organize documentation for audits, reviews, and internal reporting needs
Qualificaitons Include:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
- 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, ideally within an in-house legal department or law firm
- Experience supporting corporate governance and entity management strongly preferred
- Familiarity with contract management systems and document management tools
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders
Pay Range: $50-70/hour
