Joseph, Hollander & Craft LLC has an immediate opening for an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant to join our Wichita office.


The ideal candidate will, among other duties as assigned: draft and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery; manage attorney calendars and deadlines; assist with case strategy and file management; and provide administrative and organizational support.


Excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset are essential. Participation in ongoing learning and development, along with a willingness to mentor and collaborate with team members, is expected.


Compensation:

  • Salary range: $53,000 - $63,000 per year
  • Eligible for firm Paralegal Bonus Program with potential to earn up to an additional $10,000 annually

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of family law or related legal experience strongly preferred
  • Paralegal certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Tabs3 billing and case management software is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid understanding of legal terminology, court filing requirements, and case workflows


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Equivalent combinations of education, certification (ALS, PLS, CPS, or paralegal certificate), and experience will be considered
